How The Mosquito Trap Works

Effectively reduce or eliminate biting insects indoors or outdoors. The Skone eliminates insects without chemicals being added to the environment or the surrounding areas of usage. With no expensive attractant refill or propane necessary, the Skone Insect Eliminator offers a 3-way protection plan for effective insect eradication. The Skone is easy to install and plugs into any standard outlet with the supplied 10' power cord.

Two UV fluorescent bulbs produce warm light to attract insects to the Skone. The TiO2 - titanium dioxide exclusive coated funnel produces CO2 which is irresistible to mosquitoes, luring the insects to the powerful yet whisper quiet vacuum fan. Insects are collected and trapped into the retaining cage, where the insects expire naturally. Providing you with safe pest protection and a comfortable living environment. The Skone is ideal for use in backyards, patio areas, gardens, and near swimming pools.

The Skone Insect Eliminator has been proven effective against mosquitoes, flies, no-see-ums, moths, Asian beetles, wasps, and yellow jackets.

The American designed Skone Insect Eliminator reduces mosquitoes and midges/sand flies breeding around your home, workplace or where animals are kept, by breaking the breeding cycle before the adult females lay their eggs. While some other insect trapping devices have only one or two methods of attracting insects, our Skone Mosquito Trap uses up to ten scientifically proven attractants for mosquitoes and midges/sand flies.

One female mosquito in a trap means up to 600 less mosquitoes will bree

Consumers should note that environmental conditions (e.g., air temperature, wind), placement of a device (with its chemical attractants) in various parts of an outdoor area, or other factors are likely to determine the effectiveness or lack thereof and thus determine the user’s overall experience with any particular trapping device. Due to the variableness of catches, we do not guarantee that any of our traps will make equal catches to that shown in the pictures.

How the eight Scientifically Proven Attractants Work

• Carbon Dioxide (CO²) – Female mosquitoes host-seek using the carbon dioxide we breathe out.

• Heat – Mosquitoes are drawn to our body heat.

• Octenol – Produced naturally in human perspiration.

• Moisture – Mosquitoes look for moisture in our perspiration.

• Ultraviolet Light (UV) – A certain wavelength of UV attracts some species.

• Sound – High frequency ‘feeding frenzy’ sound attracts female mosquitoes. Male mosquitos, able to carry infections and pass them on in the mating process to female mosquitos, are drawn by the “Wing • • • • Beating” sounds of the female mosquitos.

• Movement – Mosquitoes are attracted to movement.

• Colour – Mosquitoes are attracted to dark colours.
